A game of Flip 7 at our table.

How to fill in the sheet

One line per round, one score per player. At the end of the round, each player still in works out their score: the sum of their number cards, doubled if they have the ×2 card, then the modifiers (+2, +4, +6, +8, +10) are added, and finally 15 bonus points if they flipped seven different numbers. A player who busted scores 0 for the round, modifiers included; a player who stopped in time scores their total. Write the round total in the box and the running total small underneath.

As soon as a player reaches 200, the current round becomes the last: finish it, then the highest total wins. On the sheet, draw a line under that round so everyone knows it is the last.

Sample calculation

PlayerCards flippedCalculationScore
Emma3, 7, 9, 12, ×2, +4(3 + 7 + 9 + 12) × 2 + 466
Nico1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, +641 + 6 + 15 (seven numbers)62
Pat6, 9, 9, +10Bust0

Emma doubles her numbers before adding the +4; Nico gets the seven-different-numbers bonus; Pat loses everything, including the +10.

Mistakes to avoid on paper

  • Doubling after the modifiers: the ×2 only applies to the numbers.
  • Leaving a busted player their modifiers: they score 0.
  • Stopping the game as soon as someone passes 200: finish the round, anyone can still overtake.
  • Forgetting the 15 bonus: seven different numbers, not seven cards (modifiers don’t count).
