A game of 6 nimmt! at our table.

How to fill in the sheet

One line per round. After the ten turns, each player counts the bullheads on the cards they collected: 1 per ordinary card, 2 for multiples of 5, 3 for multiples of 10, 5 for doubles (11, 22 … 99) and 7 for the 55. Count the heads printed on the cards directly; it is safer than working them out. Write the total, then the running total.

The game ends at the end of the round in which a player reaches 66 bullheads; the lowest total wins. Many tables play a fixed number of rounds instead (three or four): if so, write it at the top of the sheet.

Nico passes 66 in round 4: the game ends, Lea wins with 31. With four players a game to 66 usually lasts five to seven rounds; here the 55 and two rows of doubles cut it short.

Mistakes to avoid on paper

  • Counting the 55 as 5: it is worth 7.
  • Counting cards instead of bullheads: a row of five cards can be worth 5 or 15.
  • Forgetting that cards left in the rows at the end of the round count for nobody.
  • Stopping the game in the middle of a round: finish it, then see who passed 66.
